lol this team
Hilarious setting fastest 3 goals against record with Skinner returning to town. These geniuses keep finding new ways to embarrass themselves.
"We need to get better immediately. That starts today"
- Lowe, 2013
"Next year I would forecast as another developmental year"
- MacT, 2015

0 goals against islanders
1 against devils
2 against pens
Now the entire team just sucks. We can’t defend, can’t score. This is a mess

You guys remember the good old days when we looked like world beaters and beat teams 5-0 and 6-0?
Even in the 2 losses to the Isles and Devils, that was 3 GA in 4 games, so pretty damned good.
But wow - 3-0 on 4 shots a couple minutes in. Sure does bring you back down to Earth in a hurry.

Yup exactly!
Thanks to our division that is as soft as a babys ass. We are still in second place. But right now if we make playoffs we will just get steam rolled in the first or second round
Does anyone truly believe we would even win a single game against Colorado?

Anyone else watch the highlights and rewind the second goal, over and over... and watch what seems like a physical impossibility happen? Ekholm is taking hard strides coming back into the zone and is ahead of Mantha, and Mantha has enough time to stride past him, head towards the boards for a moment to pick up the puck, then take off past Ekholm like he was standing still... to the point that Ek has to reach his stick out fully to try to defend by the time the puck is entering the net.
That was THE SLOWEST I've ever seen a Dman skate. That was the epitome of glacial pace.
We're in a real spot here if Ek has lost that much skating ability. Holy hell.

Wrong. Manta was in full stride when he received the puck. Ekholm turns and pursues, speed is about the same but he couldn’t make up Mantha’s head start
