Smart strategic move to allow a breakaway against to start the game. Checking if the game is worth playing or not. If the goalie was to “Skinner” the breakaway and let it in, can save energy and just throw the towel in.
Nurse dashed away from the middle of the ice to the boards, to make a hopeless limp wrist stick swing, to allow the breakaway pass to be made. That’s why nurse makes the big bucks.

Our depth lines are doing stuff. I don’t see them scared to try to hold pucks and make plays. But they just can’t quite get to the right spots to finish. Really think our bottom 6 issue is what it has usually been for a decade+. Lack of skill. And if there is some young skill, just not enough support/experience to get things done yet.
