welcome back Mr. Jarry.. yes that is the defence you can expect from 2, 25
Jarry played well enough to win.. too many brain black outs.. Howard on the 3-3.. Bouchard catching butterflys instead of seeing the guy skating past him on the 4-3..
More break aways against, same as Chicago.. .. its become an Oiler characteristic..
Walman looked OK.
McDAVID! Oh YEAH Baby!! (Thank you Lord!)

I dislike watching lazy teams win, so I'm happy the Oilers lost a game that Nashville worked very hard to win. That last sequence in OT where Bouch and Drai just completely abandoned Jarry and put him in that terrible spot was enough for me to be happy that they had to watch the puck go in their net.
I hate lazy effort more than I appreciate skill. Starting to realize that, over time. This team is rife with recurrent laziness.

The selfish 2+ minute OT shifts thing needs to stop. If nothing is working, get your butts on the bench. Get your rest and wait your turn. Teams are just casually outwaiting us lately. We do have other players on our team that can make some plays.

Silver Lining time!
The nice thing about losing in OT to Nashville is that we aren't forced to lose to Vancouver to break a two game streak. Would be embarrassing to have them keep us from getting to three in a row.
Now, if we can beat the Isles tonight, we can beat the Canucks for fun on Saturday on Hockey Night in Canada before losing a heartbreaker to the Blues Sunday to end our fledgling streak and to maintain our complete ineptitude at back-to-back games.

No way we lose to the Blues on Sunday. We are losing to the Islanders instead.

Having to plan our wins, and which losses we would prefer to see, based our maximum 2 wins in a row threshold. How did it come to this??
