Ah, yes, the time-honoured tradition of the Oilers losing to the garbage Sabres. It's just nature doing its thing.
LOL... as I write this, the Oilers are hemmed into their own zone for a full minute by McLeod's line. Buffalo is playing the second half of a back to back, after getting beat in one hell of a tilt against Calgary last night. The Sabres should be gassed right now, but the Oilers are back to playing their trash hockey from prior to the last four or so games, and look like an ECHL team against world beaters.
My god these guys are frustrating.

Hahahahaha... Tage Thompson owns the Oilers.
Ooooo... our guys got lucky there. That should have been a wake up call for the home side, but Buffalo comes out and continues to dominate. LOL. The Oilers have such limited give a duck.

Looks like the last two games were a mirage.. this is who the defence is.. and the team speed is league average at best.. beat to pucks.. zero threat of a forecheck.. washing machine in their own end.. opposition forecheck always causes turnovers.. ours doesn't..
I wish Jack would just shut up.. he's a one man jinx.. just finishes saying teh Sabres are league worst on the road.. then <snap> .. its 3-0

Just wondering.. how manty times do you see opposition teams give up pucks to the open slot, and/or break aways, or two on ones like our defence? Pretty rare that I remember getting easy goals like we give up routinely

Ah. I said we should remind Buffalo that they suck, but instead the Oilers are reminding fans of something about the Oilers.

They suffer against every team with young speed.. Oil are always late to pucks.. no fore check.. can't achieve escape velocity out of their own zone.. and then there are the mental vaccums.. just aimless decisions defensively..
