Lou and Jack just doing their job providing cover for Skinner. Going on and on about the high slot flyby and wondering if it was tipped.

It was weak.

This

He wasn’t paying attention and it beat him clean. I legit would expect a beer league goalie to save that

1-0 after 1

This team is playing better, but the offense is just so anemic. I don't think I've seen a more journeyman-looking offensive capacity for an Oilers team during the McDavid & Drai era. They just can't score.

Skinner showing again how he's ready for showtime.. blue line shot clean in..

Oilers only hope in the system is Jonsson..

Jonsson should be in the AHL not echl.. Ingram and Tomkins taking his development spot

Also has to be said Skinner continues to have some of the worse goalie puck handling out there.. he's a high chance of an open net gaol everytime he goes around the net.. compare to Walstad who instead of firing the puck around the boards where teh forward is waiting to pick it off and throw into your gaping net.. he fired it cross ice directly to "his" winger's stick.. and they were off on a rush.. simple skill.. simple play.. big effect.

Think Louie brushed that one off as screened

Unfortunately the "screen" made him move his glove down and out of the way of the puck :(

That aside, hopes and prayers Stu has at least this level of game in him for a while so the team can go on a little run. Not gonna be playing a red hot Wallstedt every night.

There is no way that Wallstedt is going to shut us out. I refuse to believe the hockey gods could be that big of trolls.

I’m not fanboying or anything, but so far I really like Clattenberg. Been noticing him out there the few shifts he has had.

Not sure I’d do more than 7 years /$3M per…
