At least according to Rishaug although he says nothing is imminent. I know the Oilers are considered to have one of the best bluelines in the league, but if all of these guys get re-signed, they better hope there isn't a regression in the years to come, as we already have our top 4 signed at least through the 2028-29 season! And, those four all have some form of trade protection for the vast majority of those terms.
If they keep signing players at this rate, we won't have to worry about players choosing Edmonton as a destination. There won't be anywhere else to put them, even if they do want to play there.

Better not be no-move clauses in it if they extend him. I do think at some point they need new blood too. Can't just have the same aging crew forever.
