Skookum Jim Pointed out in the other thread that Ingram’s mother passing last season seemed to be why he had an off year after a couple really solid season behind a terrible Arizona lineup.

This is a really good trade - we got enough salary retention that the contract can be buried completely. It's for future considerations - so essentially nothing. He's already passed through waivers, so we can keep him in the AHL until we want to bring him up.
Only issue is that we have too many goalies now. Jonsson is still in camp and he's the best goalie prospect we've had in a while. He will need a place to play regularly. Tomkins just got demoted, but he won the Harry "Hap" Holmes Memorial Award for fewest goals against in the AHL last year. Both of those guys will need the net for some of the time, so at some point someone has to go.
