One of my favourite picks.. (7th round!) .. I thought he was the best skater in the last Oiler prospect tourney in Penticton.. should take off even more in London this year.. great skater.. 2-way.. his 5v5 points was same as O'Reilly and better than Cowan/Barkey last year
Quote: | ..Nicholl should be a highly counted on player this year in London. As with last season, continued development of his offence should be the focus. Nicholl’s skating is pro level already. As he grows into his frame, his skating should really develop into a weapon for him. Look for Nicholl to take another step this season on one of the CHL’s deepest teams.

I kind of hope we see Jarventie show better than this rating. There was some talk that he could be NHL-ready when he was dealt for, and then he was a missing person for all of last year. The silver lining is that the guys he was dealt for - Bourgault & Chiasson - both had really disappointing seasons last year and don't look close to the Show.
The other one I'm interested to understand is Alec Regula. The Oilers claimed him on waivers last December 11th and then he never played a single game at any level the rest of the year - and then got a two-year deal from the Oilers in May. It will be interesting to see where he fits in the depth chart.
Missing a full-year of action is tough for prospects, so I assume both these guys start in the AHL. Not sure waiver eligibility for both though.
"Thinking that a bad team's best players are the reason the team is bad is the "Tambellini re-signing Lennart Petrell" of sports opinions." @Woodguy55
