No Cups

Dog days of summer but this might be fun to kick around.

Spoiler if you read the link, but it appears that ESPN has picked Vancouver as the more miserable sports city in Canada.

I mean you lose the Stanley cup game in 2011 after being up 3-2, I get the frustration, but burning down your downtown? Losing sucks for sure, but at the cost of your city?

It's not just about hockey for sure, looking at all their professional sports fandom, those Canuckleheads are some kind of fans.

Can you guess where Edmonton ranks?

The very definition of insanity is doing the exact same thing expecting different results.

Generally Disappointed.

That is a sequel. Don't forget about losing the SC game in 1994. The Canucks came back to tie the series after being down 3-1. The destruction started soon after that loss.

Surprised Ottawa is so high. They care that much?

I assume Montreal would instantly go to 100/100 if the team dared to hire a coach that doesn't speak french.

I think Ottawa will get better under the new ownership. They have been dealing with a sub-par team for awhile now. And the arena has been slowly turning into a dump. Also, the music and in-game experience was severely dated, and it just felt like ownership didn't care about the team. It doesn't help that Toronto and Montreal are so close. The only Senators fans I know in this City are kids. The adults all cheer for another team.

I'm hopeful the new downtown arena continues to progress and helps lift the team and the fanbase.
