Looks like the Oilers are done their eastern road schedule in December. They've got four games against Calgary this year: game 1, back to back split by Christmas, and the last game before the Olympics. The 7 games in 11 day eastern road trip looks like a November nightmare.

That first month looks like as easy as we could ask for to get a good start to a season. Maybe 2 or 3 games total in October against teams I would consider actually good (1 x NJD, 2 x NYR who are only good because of their goalie).
2 early games against the Canucks though. Recent history suggests we love to let our season become an instant disaster with losses to the Canucks.
