I like this deal. Not a game breaker but a versatile player that should be able to fit into the middle six somewhere. Good term, good relative dollars given the deals signed earlier today.
Didn't watch him much after moving out east but as a flame I remember him being a pain in the butt who worked hard.
I am also pretty sure I remember him killing penalties. Not sure if he was good at it or just best option but if that is a functional part of his game I will like the deal even more.

I think the things listed above make him an acceptable fill in for some of the things we lost and potentially an improvement if he can get some chemistry with Drai or McDavid.
