If it helps, Caleb Jones was mostly an AHLer this past year and Chicago got nothing for him when he left. And they traded that third rounder to Arizona (who picked a guy who didn't play hockey at all last year) for a third rounder the following season. That pick is a low-scoring Czech center in the Swiss league. They used our cap space to acquire and sign Seth Jones, but he sucked in Chicago for most of his time there. They did get a goalie and a draft pick when they dealt him, but the deal didn't work out spectacularly for Chicago either...even though they robbed us blind.
Poor Keith - if only he'd been dealt to the Oilers a couple years earlier he might be able to get his number retired now that he's in the Hall!

Duncan Keith elected to the Hockey Hall of Fame for the class of 2025. I actually thought it would take a little bit longer for him, maybe 2nd or 3rd ballot, but congrats to him. He was only an Oiler one year with his best years behind him, but he is still a team alumni going to the Hall of Fane, and that's always cool.

Mogilny also inducted.. he deserves it.. 76 goals scorer.. he was an awesome player.. and the first Soviet Russian to come over.. he defected in Sweden after the World Championships as a teen ager .. a Buffalo 5th rounder!
Here's the story.. unreal.. worthy of a movie.. KGB were chasing him and Don Luce through Stockholm..

His story and Peter Stastny deserve more attention for their defections. Those guys really did take their lives into their hands to get a better life.

A well deserved induction to the HHOF.. in his prime he was the template for a puck moving, hard as nails, scoring defenseman.. and he represented Team Canada on many well played occasions.. hats off!
