Some organizations value “loyalty” over merit. Because there’s no merit to keeping Schwartz given the track record of our goalies in his term.
Also the Oilers seem to have a love for defending organizational people that the fans and stats and wins/loses universally agree should be canned.
In any other professional sports team with this track record… he would have been gone a long time ago. Oilers are just smarter than all of them.
