Not many positives to take away from this tire fire.
I’m really hoping they go with Pickard for game 4, but for some stupid reason, I just know they’re going to go back to Stu. He’s looked shaky for 3 games in a row now. Give Pickard a chance again. He’d still be there if he had not gotten hurt.

You're forgetting - he's Mr. Game Four. Two day break to reset, and then we take over.
Frustrating game, but almost better to get blown out. It's a wake up call.
I like the chippiness too. The team was clear that they give as good as they get. Really thought going after Bennett and Tkachuk was the right decision.
Didn't love a couple of the penalties - Kane's little slap to the face was a stupid decision. Cheap, but did no damage to the opponent, and could have been much worse for him. Kapanen's crosscheck - I wish he'd hit him harder, since he was going to get a penalty anyhow.

It should have been completely predictable, but it's still crazy we are now heading into a make or break game of the series all hoping for Stu to be non-garbage again after 3 pretty mediocre to abysmal games in the finals, just because it's a game 4.
Made it to the finals in spite of weaknesses in the lineup we have complained about for years. All the same weak spots from years past have rushed back punched us in the gut for a couple games now. Looking for a miracle here, like the magic of Game 4 Stu.
Almost everyone is writing the Oilers off now after that embarrassing game. Need that to be a launch pad again to a great game.
