Having a GM with the balls to work the LTIR game really paid off here. Walman has really become comfortable in the playoffs and has been a warrior out there. Plus how much we needed ekholm’s ice time filled for 3 rounds.
Walman, Podz, Kapanen, Klingberg. Bowman did some good work to tweak this roster. Would be nice if Frederic could get more going but he looks like he needs a summer to get his body back fixed up. Still time though for him to lay out Tkachuk for us :)
edit: guess I made almost the same post after we beat Vegas :) Oh well, it's truer by the day, and Walman seems to keep having larger impacts on games.
