If Edmonton had 3 pp's in a row there is zero chance that tripping on 90 gets called. I'm sorry zero chance.

Zebras taking over the game.

Ekblad's reaction to that call was priceless. The "who me" move doesnt work when you bear hug someone.

Jumping full arm grab around the head to take Drai down. Ekblad has turned into quite a dirt bag. Elbows being thrown all playoffs. I don’t know why Ekblad plays like he does. He seems totally convinced that Colin Campbell is trying to boost his son’s resume.

I think Tkurtle is hurt. They need to pound him every chance they get. Bennett too.

I don’t understand how it’s accepted that that is how Florida plays - cross checks to the back, punch to the head, and that’s all just part of the game? What the hell - those are penalties. Those are not hockey plays.

It would be one thing if they let it go both ways. But they don't. The standard for bennett is 180 degrees the opposite of the standard for Kane.

Frederick needs to cross check Bennett right in the mouth. We all know that’s not a suspension, so giddy up.

And now we get to listen to the weasel maclean and whoever that girl is wash Bennetts balls at the intermission.

This is basically my husband's (former jr b D-man) opinion, he's not an Oilers fan, but he can't watch this type of hockey, so he's now sitting outside.

Did you catch that bit with Bennett on Draisaitl? Like 5 infractions in 10 seconds.

TNT's been pretty good showing the replays of the cheapness...errr...Florida's toughness icon_rolleyes

Lundquist thought the goal should stand, but also pointed out that Bennett took three steps into Stu once he felt he was touched.

Well, Florida is playing exactly how we knew they would. Dirty plays galore & super hard on the forecheck.

Need to get back to playing our game, not falling into playing how they want us to.

40m to go. Lets turn this around. In Knob I trust.

Edit: And for Gods sake shoot HIGH. You're not beating Bob down low!

This is the ridiculous thing. Such obvious dirtbaggery all over the ice and it's just let go. And then guaranteed at some point in this playoffs there is going to be a scrum and one of our guys is going to the box alone for giving someone a facewash.

The NHL is really bush league in a lot of ways, but the encouragement of goon tactics when the stage is the biggest is by far the worst.

Pisses me off that the Stanley Cup finals, which should be peak NHL, devolves into who can get away with cheating the most without being called.
