Welp. Will take a mess on the boards leading to Nuge spot snipe PP any day of the week. Gotta wait until next PP to see if they improved the setup plays :)

I don't hate Cuthbert, he usually has decent analysis and doesnt make many mistakes. What I dont like is the monotonous style. Not every one needs to be Monster Truck Jack Michaels or a WWE announcer but a little emotion would be nice.

They are getting a treat to cover a Canadian team that is willing to pay the price, unlike the last series they covered.

Listening to Jack on 880 I realized why he's kind of annoying on a TV broadcast.. talks too much.. too much fill.. he tends to use the same style as he does for radio.. on radio they have to fill the air more with dialogue.. like calling a baseball game.. which needs it..

When you synch him on Radio with the TV you see how much play by play he doesn't mention because he's in the middle of a protracted soliloquy.. but what I hopes he'd stop is always mentioning an opposing player, PP, PK or team that's on a bad streak.. cringe every time.

Doesn’t feel like Dallas can win a skill duel against us. And it’s not like they have that great of a defensive D group. More of a defense by pushing offense team. Hope we can just keep playing our game.

Agreed. I don't think the OIL were given the credit they deserved for dispatching Vegas.

Maybe the OIL ARE better than everyone thinks. I know that THIS playoff version of the OIL bares little resemblance to 'regular season OIL'.

The scoreboard is being very generous to the Stars.

Same crap I’ve been saying for years - I just hope that we continue to push the pace. Continue to forecheck. None of this sitting back. Even if we don’t score any more goals, just keep the pressure up.

Can Stu cut it out with the little sentimental journeys out of the net? The only reason that the Oilers took that penalty was because he made the job to get it out of the zone far more difficult than it needed to be. Stay in the net, Stu!

Other than that, great game so far!!!

Yeah - he’s been fine. 0 fault on the first. Last one he might have stopped, but basically a perfect shot.

If I have to blame him for one it’s the 2nd. Not because of the shot, because the penalty wss 100% the result of him trying and failing to play the puck
