Amazed Friedman questioned Vegas coming out of that scrum with a PP.

And I loved Bieksa’s question (one of my all time favourite analysts already): “so how many free chops does Hill get?”

They need to get in the refs ear. Just that montage there was a good 5 penalties they could have called on Hill.

Meanwhile you've got Skinner chatting up the other teams players and complimenting his besties around the league when they score on him icon_rolleyes

Hated Bieksa as a player, but he's a fantastic analyst. Calls a spade a spade. No pandering to either team.
I think I started liking him towards the end of his career when he started calling out his teammates (cough, Henrik & Daniel) for diving looking for penalties rather than playing the game.

Yeah Bieksa is the best analyst going right now by far.

Lol even the HNIC panel noticed how much vegas got away with that period.

Except the back stabber Ron Maclean. According to him the refs should just take someone out of the scrum - fair or not. So in other words they don't actually call penalties. Cool.

If I'm not mistaken the Oilers have had more calls against them than for in every single game this playoffs. I guess vegas and LA are just really disciplined!

Everything, absolutely everything that happened in that period came from one person.... Aiden Hill, his shove on Hyman started it. I don't care if you are a netminder, if you are going to do that you are joining the party and throwing away the goalie protection pass. He's slashed Hyman twice since and it's not been spotted.

That final PK was huge for me, go in after 3 PK's and all the expanded energy with a 2 goal lead will give them a boost.

I hope the zebra's are on a call to Toronto being told to watch what's going on and being told to watch the mistakes.

We've got the HNIC match feed, but don't get the intermission stuff, sounds like they are saying the same things I saw. So if we can see why not the refs??

Passes like that is why he has earned a long leash from me when he has a bad giveaway. He does things only a handful of D-men in the league can do. He is a lot like Drai that way, and also why some fans like to make them the scapegoat when things dont go right.

Waited all year but here he is again. Arguably the most dominant playoff D a few years straight now. No Ek, McDrai not even playing like they can, not even close for Drai yet. Bouch still standing out making great plays on both sides of the puck and once again leading D in playoff points.

Kane has been a beast since coming back. Great shot to beat Hill clean.

Best part? Limiting Vegas to just 11 SOG halfway through the game, and I can't think of any high danger chances against

Soft tissue injuries - groin in particular don't just get better in a few weeks or months. He re-injured it stepping on the puck in whichever game that was. Hasn't been the same since. Still can be an elite player but no where close to his best.
