Not sure I'd be super excited about that. Only 14 games last year and none this year so lots of rust. And can he defend? Some huge minuses next to his name the last few years. -85 since 2019-20, with most of that on decent enough Dallas teams. Worst on the team three years running in Dallas, and then 4th worst on a bad Ducks team under Dallas Eakins.
I have to think there are better options for blueliners available at the deadline.
"Thinking that a bad team's best players are the reason the team is bad is the "Tambellini re-signing Lennart Petrell" of sports opinions." @Woodguy55

D version of Jeff Skinner. Guy plays zero defense. Don't think Knob will enjoy him. Might help give fans a distraction from Bouch though

In retrospect, he is looking like a decent pickup. Sounds like he just needed surgery and to heal.
So this is what hope feels like?

Turned into a pretty ideal 3rd pair D I would say. Still gets walked now and then, but having a D that can play with your depth guys and hit them on the fly across 2 zones with perfect passes opens up a lot. Think 2 goals last night started with Klingberg nailing a long pass.
Happy I was wrong about what he had left to give.
