Turning it off.

At least Oilers never gave Skinner Campbell money.

That's true. The small wins lol

I know McDrai are gonna be pissed and come back better. But I have the least faith I've had in years in the supporting cast this time around. The supporting guys are performing like the quality Chia was giving us in his last years. A near retirement Corey Perry outscored everyone that wasn't getting automatic 1st PP time.

...IMHO it's not really Skinner's fault when the team scores ZERO goals in front of him.

...that said, do u risk going with SKINS again next game???

...and now 29 scores. ...can't see a comeback, but u never know. 3 isn't absolutely impossible. confused2

Shocked the refs didn't call McDavid for the stick grab. Had mercy on us

On HNIC they are speculating that 29 was ripping the coaching staff for letting the refs get away with this without at least an earful..interesting.

Yep. I just can't understand how they played LA 3 years in a row and identified Arvidson as the guy they needed to target for the first day of free agency.

Our kid in the candy store interim GM was just excited to get whoever had an agent that would call him back.

He did take some runs from behind on Ekholm in our LA series that year. Sure we loved that.

Wonder if there was a single person in the org that considered just not blowing our cap space on UFA wingers and just letting the new GM we get have some more room to make some moves. Defense and goaltending were our main issues, and amazingly, they are still our main issues. And we ended up with some poor fit wingers to downgrade the roster.

Arvidsson had 10 points in 11 games in the last two series against Edmonton. He has been hurt a lot, but when he's played he's been one of their best players against us.

Somehow, the Oilers just have crushed the offence out of everyone not named McDavid or Draisaitl though this year. I do blame coaching.

Arvidsson last 2 years - 74 points in 95 games. With the Oilers? 27 in 67.
Jeff Skinner? 128 in 153 games and now 29 in 72.
Adam Henrique? 80 in 122 before joining Edmonton and 36 in 103 Oilers games.

Some of that is no PP time for sure, but even so, these players often don't look dangerous at all now.
