Got a point with no Drai and no McDavid in the third. It is what it is. Move on

...big picture, no reason to fear the JETS and the best goalie in the known world after this one.
...this time, it's for real (isn't it?).

Now can spend all our fan time worrying about Mcdavid and Drai.

What was Nurse doing just standing at the blueline, which forced him to dump the puck and give it away?
It's 3 on 3 Darnell. You're dead in the water if you're not moving.
He's not the smartest tool in the belt.

His thought process is an enigma..
That's also a Bouchard flaw.. getting stuck not moving.. indecision.. leading to give away.. same old.

Oilers need to talk to the league about the refs. Guys getting injured with no repercussions and comically bad dives getting called the other way. Ehlers even tried it a second time in OT just for fun.

The league made the decision to hand the keys to the Ferrari over to a bunch of overpaid beer leaguers with enormous egos. They have zero accountability and it's just an accepted reality that the players need to stroke their egos at all times or risk getting 'game managed'. Elkhom forgot who the real stars of the show are tonight and got a bit to uppity so the Oilers got a bunch of penalties in the third. That's NHL officiating. They essentially never call actual penalties or impartially officiate a game.
Honestly they should be forced to wear rodeo clown outfits and let the fans throw rotten fruit at them. At least make it fun.

GOLD!
I'd pay $5 to see that! LOL
EA NHL Hockey should have a "clown mode" where the refs are dressed up as clowns instead of stripes.. bonus feature!

Sounds like #Oilers have imaging scheduled today for Connor McDavid and Leon Draisaitl to better understand severity of injuries and timelines to return to play.
Did Carney curse our team? lol

I haven't seen a thing. Hopefully someone else caught something.
Team is calling McDavid's injury "lower-body". Looked like a chop on his arm or torso.
Seriously, shoulda LTIR'd Kane last year and got a 2nd pair D, lol. Playoff run this year looking super dicey.

Didn't watch the Utah game? They showed it and talked about it a bunch.
Can't remember who the player was but basically just a fluke thing where he stepped on the other guys skate or stick and his leg slid out. I immediately thought achilles or hamstring. He wasn't the same the rest of the game. Pretty clear the only reason he was on the ice is that it's Leon and that's just what he does - plays when 99% of players wouldn't.
Hopefully it's minor and the rest is actually good for these guys and can get fully healthy before the playoffs. Otherwise that team is screwed.
