...about time. Pickard was solid. Too bad about Leon. For a guy who has carried this team on his back I don't think having Perry on one wing was any help.
...this time, it's for real (isn't it?).

We're the only house in our neighbourhood with power after a blizzard rolled through this evening. Great night to stay in and watch this game the old fashioned way.

PK looked good with the Ekholm-Walman and Nurse-Kulak pairings..
Nuge plays better as a center.. has way more positive effect on the game .. winger doesn't suit his best skills.

Play Skinner after every Pickard win is the play. Skinner is a different player after he had to watch Pickard trying to take his job. 10-2 and 0.925 sav% in the 12 instances.

Also back-to-back Pickard hasn't gone well at all...

Yeah, that's unfortunately why we can never do 1A/1B with these guys. Pickard falters every time the coach considers playing him for a run.
If Skinner really does need the motivation of the other guy pushing for his spot, we really do need a better other guy. If we insist on keeping Skinner indefinitely, we still probably need our 1A of the 1A/1B.
