Oilers looking great. Buffalo is a first period team they said. Always strong first period and suck the rest of the way. Get a lead here and it should be a win

That's a very interesting juggling act by Skinner on that Thompson goal.

Short lived. 2-1. Unreal. Skinner come on. But the defense isn't helping him. Just stand around while they take wide open shots

(9.)25 is hot garbage. The bar for him is so unbelievably low - just don't be a tire fire and Edmonton media and fans basically just accept what he is. Amazingly he usually finds a way to fail to reach that bar.

I feel like there was a time when Louy Debrusk was kind of a good/entertaining commentator. He is just awful now. The most bland vanilla generic insight you could imagine..like nothing interesting or remotely off script ever.

When was the last time 93 did anything to justify being gifted the amount of cake ice time he gets? Put 90 out there instead.

Wouldn't mind seeing Walman get a chance on PP1. By all accounts he has a bomb of a shot. Have him on right point & Bouch on the left. Two bombs from the point that they have to respect, which should open up space for the forwards.

Bob - So RNH physically takes the puck and makes plays with it?

Glen - well no...RNH takes the puck from Mcdavid and passes it to Bouchard..

Bob - Well I just have to ask Glen couldn't Mcdavid just pass the puck directly to Bouchard huh?

Glen - He has puck skills! Can't you understand that? What the hell is the matter with you people!

That said, the Sabres, despite all their challenges, seem to bring their best against us. Tage Thompson always seems to be a thorn in our side. Hopefully, we can just brush them aside tonight. It's embarrassing when they beat us.

Called it. No way we should be losing this game, but how many times have we said that this season?

Safe Louie with his copy/paste talking points. Just change the name or team as required. Last games he was boring us all and Jack had to cut him off because a goal seemed imminent.

Quite often when Skinner should have had it, Louie calls it a “perfect” shot. I often wonder if it’s because he’s standing right beside Pickard every time it happens though.

He’s not annoying. Just bland. Maybe that’s better than the dude with the big bald head we had years ago.

Meanwhile this no name goalie saves a Drai one timer slap shot off a cross ice pass. Oilers are such an annoying team to watch this year.

I have been one of his defenders and its pretty hard to defend some of these plays he has been making. That one last night was inexcusable. That puck needs to go into the corner. He tried to make a play when he had two guys on him and got burned. He had three egregious give aways in front of his own net against Montreal in overtime. These are mental mistakes a veteran defenseman cannot make. I honestly think maybe we would be better off playing him on the wing. He just doesn't have the defensive mindset to be anything but a liability in his own end. Reminds me of Ales Hemsky. Million dollar talent with a ten cent brain.
