Those egomaniacs really should have to explain why they ignore the 50 other times that play happens in a game but chose to call that one specifically. Some perceived failure to show them quite enough reverence will get you called for that every time. Wash ref balls or get penalty. That's the NHL for you.

The NHL referee bar for calling penalties is a kaleidoscope.. it never ever comes into focus.. that way they can make a call.. at any time.. without adhering to any type of benchmark.. and the NHL wants it that way.
.. some of those calls tonight against the Oilers were phantoms.. like the tap on the hand for Leon's penalty.. same thing happens another 20 times in the rest of the game.. no calls..
or the phantom call on Kapanen in the 3rd.. I watched the replay 4 times.. there was no stick anywhere near the Dallas player.. it was an imaginary call.. and it started the come back for Dallas.
They need to start firing some refs.. get a healthy turnover rate.. base it on merit.. put some accountability into teh system..

Is anyone actually concerned with the rantanen led Dallas stars in the playoffs? They are done if they play Colorado Winnipeg Vegas or Edmonton ie real threats.

New guys impressing for sure. Who heard of Max Jones? Haha. Walman looking like a dream D to play with Nurse tonight. Frederic gonna start nailing guys left and right when he gets in the lineup. Hope this game gives the team some momentum back.

Not seen a great deal of Dallas this year, but they look like they are trying to play on the break more. I know we've been easy to break on, but they remind me of the Oilers in the play-off's last year.
Having Jones in the roster seems to have brought something we've missed from Kane all year. Walman looking handy as well.
