There it is.

To NYR:
J.T. Miller
Erik Brannstrom
Jackson Dorrington

To Vancouver
Filip Chytil
Victor Mancini
1st round pick

Big downgrade to the Canucks roster, unless this magically makes a bunch of guys become PDO masters on the Canucks again.

JT Miller waived his NMC to make it possible for him to take his career full circle back to New York.

NYR gets the best player.. Canucks basicly get a 1st round pick.. Chytil is 25 and a mid 6 forward..
Mancini is 22.. 5th rounder.. AHL'er

Wild. They probably traded the right guy... if they had to trade a guy. Love that the best players are going east. Can't wait for next Friday's trade.

Vancouver turns around and makes this trade with the pick from the Rangers

To the Canucks

Marcus Petterssson
Drew O'Connor

To the Penguins

Rangers 1st Rounder
Vinny Desharnais
Danton Heinen
Melvin Fernstrom

The Canucks have now collect all the Petterssons which I think gets them some kind of prize.

I hope Vinny does well in NY. It was hard to cheer him on in Vancouver, but now I can hope for his success again.

Not only do they keep Pettersson over Miller. They triple down on Pettersson.

This is hilarious if true

local man @clinicaldrai
Frank Seravalli on SN960 just said that his understanding is "a lot of players on Vancouver are very upset about the Miller trade, and that this wasn't the move they wanted".
Don't expect the locker room issues to stop.🤷

I choose to believe this is true BECAUSE it's hilarious.

Guess its no surprise that team America is upset that their loudmouth leader is gone.

I suspect team Sweden management (GM Allvin + Sedins) sided with the Swedish #1 overall draft pick .. (that Allvin just gave $11.6M x 8 contract to).. because the optics of trading him instead of Miller would make the Canuck franchise (owners as well) look pretty incompetent. also.. I can see why the players would be less than enthused about seeing Miller go.. Miller was a leader.... miserable.. but a leader with a lot of skill.. Petterson has looked terrible the last couple years.. never seen a guy fall down so easily.. its bizarre.. even Canuck fans talk about it.. has less grit than Jello.

I saw a lot of stuff on the ice that didn’t make Miller look very mature at times. And he’s the one who had to miss a month of hockey for unknown reasons.

Being a good leader means leading for all. Maybe yelling and being a piss ass gets you far for some but it’s not going to work for everyone.
