Not easy, but this team keeps finding ways to pull out wins.
Let's get an angry McDavid back and keep going on a run.
"We need to get better immediately. That starts today"
- Lowe, 2013
"Next year I would forecast as another developmental year"
- MacT, 2015

Love to see 1st place in the division.
Washington is gonna fall off at some point right? Let’s go for the presidents trophy.

Great win.. squeezed one out.. a LOT of opportunities.. and S. Skinner made some remarkable saves.. looked like a #1.. 👍🏻
also .. anyone see the clip of McDavid and Klingberg practicing with each other doing one on one drills? .. don't look now but Klinger is looking pretty mobile..
McDAVID! Oh YEAH Baby!! (Thank you Lord!)
Tic-Tac-Tao!

I watched the game, it was far from pretty. However, Buffalo have a shockingly good record against us, no matter how good we've been over recent times. So any win against them, no matter how bad they are is a decent one.
As I've said before, ugly wins when you are not playing your best is a sign of a good team. This was ugly and we didn't have McDavid either. It was a game crying out for McDavid though, as I felt we lacked imagination from our forwards and also his speed. I think this is the first time I've watched us without him and noticed that his speed alone pulls teams apart, which in turn creates chances when he's on the ice, but wears them down for others to do damage later on.
We move on, in first place with McDavid coming back a little rested and ready to climb to the top of the scoring charts, here's to the rest of the season.
Take me home, country road
to the place where I belong
to Alberta, to see the Oilers
take me home, country road

Scrappy win once again, but a 2-1 record during 97s suspension with the only loss being a close one against the league leading Caps? I'll take that. Just too bad Leon has an allergy when it comes to empty nets, else he'd be tied with McKinnon in points right now.
Suspect we're going to completely blow out the Kraken next game. McDavid will be rested and fired up.
