I remember absolutely hating Dallas like a nail hates a hammer, despite the fact the Oilers beat them (and the Avs) once. Now? I don't really care about the Kings. Cute team, not a rival.

Bailing these bums out.

This team is having major issues still with starting on time.

I'm terrified of possibly subjecting myself to watching up to 7 games of whatever this is.

For the fourth year in a row!

I agree. The last series, despite the win, wasn't fun hockey to watch. The only solace I have is knowing somewhere there is a young Kings fan who hates my team as much as a younger me hated the Stars.

How is it possible to put together a Sportsnet panel where Stauffer is the good looking one?

I think the worst of it is that the Kings have decided that they can't really compete with the Oilers so they just try to make it a slogfest full of hooking and holding and various muggings, secure in the knowledge the NHL will never have its referees call the rule book in the playoffs, and that even if they do take a few penalties, the officials will feel obligated to call an almost equal number back on us.

The last couple of years with the Kings it's basically been about just hoping our players make it through the series without getting hurt.

On empty nets - the Oilers only have five all season as an entire team. Their goals/60 5v6 must be worst in the league. It's pretty incredible how bad we are at that.

The premise is correct. The Oilers are just better and they now have playoff experience. The Kings have no choice but to muddy the water
