The Sportsnet hockey deal was great for the business of hockey, but awful for people who like watching it. I'll be glad when it's over. Still, as awful as the Sportsnet take over of hockey broadcasting has been, I'm more than a little surprised they've allowed a streaming giant into their space right as the next package is going to be negotiated.

At least Amazon talks hockey during their intermissions. I guess. Even if the voices are annoying, it's still better than what Sportsnet offers. Do we know how much Amazon paid for this?
