Right hand shot, 3rd round pick from 2018. Big guy at 6'4'', 211 lbs. Was once traded for Taylor Hall.
Since they claimed him I think they have to keep him with the big club, otherwise he will have to pass through waivers again. He's put up some points before in the AHL, but just one goal and no assists in 22 NHL games with Chicago.
I have a feeling he will be on waivers again within 2 weeks.

Not just traded for former Oiler Taylor Hall, but prior to that was traded for former Oiler Brendan Perlini!
Decent AHL numbers, decent OHL numbers before that. Only 24 years old. Maybe we send down Dermott now? Dermott's only got in 10 games so far, going 0-0-0, -3 with 0 SOG and 2 PIMs. Not exactly lighting the world on fire.
