Sometimes a player can make you eat your words. Helluva game by Darnell.

Agreed. That was Nurse at his best tonight.

Beating teams we need to beat in interesting ways. One day we will start scoring at will again.

Gotta say, our coach is pretty smart. Did any coach before consider playing Nurse on the right side? Kulak hated playing right, but these guys seem to work pretty well with Nurse on the right. Aside from whatever Kulak was doing on that 2nd goal against, he looks like he brough his playoff Kulak form early this year.

Now to figure out that bottom group. We're kinda short a LHD now. Not sure Dermott is good enough to always get that 3rd pair spot.

Oh yeah, and 1k McPoints. Easy to take watching him for granted after all these years. Just crazy. Needs that cup though.

Yeah... I have to remind myself that we need to enjoy these years as much as we can. I get caught up in my desire to see the team achieve the ultimate team goal and sometimes gloss over the entertainment value of watching that genius at work. Hopefully we have another 1000 points to enjoy with him. What a player.

My favourite thing about that game was the interview with Father McDavid in between periods. He more or less confirmed what we already know... McDavid is committed to the Oilers. The only question becomes... how much is it gonna cost?

What a pass by 97 on the winner. Total no-look, right where it needed to be. Insane.

Fitting end to a game where Connor achieves his milestone.

I was so relieved when he hit 1000 in Edmonton. That would have sucked to have had that moment on the Leaves in Toronto.

Illegitimi non carborundum.
