Sources: Vegas @GoldenKnights reviewing options, up to and including contract termination, after Robin Lehner failed to report for a mandatory medical exam to open training camp.
Let me guess. Lehner is getting his pay from Vegas some other way. No one wouldn’t do the bare minimum of showing up for almost $5M.

Never mind. That was quick. Vegas off the hook and Lehner still gets paid
Sources say a resolution has been reached on Robin Lehner situation with @GoldenKnights.
Lehner will NOT be on Vegas’ salary cap this season. Believe Lehner will still be paid.
Big win for the Golden Knights, who likely will not have to operate in LTIR to start the season.
Vegas working the system to perfection every year. Expecting another Stone injury in February

Sounds like Lehner is battling mental health issues. I hope he finds his peace.
That said and even do, it should be LTIR and move forward. Yet Bettman gives them a sweet deal.
The very definition of insanity is doing the exact same thing expecting different results.
Generally Disappointed.

curious could he return for playoffs or is ineligible to play at all this year?
Could they still trade his rights?

Would you want a guy that hasn't been around for two years to come back in time for the playoffs? The rust would be caked on.

yeah...The team and the player are two separate things here.
If it is MH related I hope he gets the help required.
