The 31 year old scored 15 points in 18 games for LA last season. Has scored 20 plus 5 times in his career (30 plus twice) so definitely a scorer. His struggle has always been health.
Oilers fans probably remember him more for a lot of first round diving.

Money and term very friendly here, I guess is always comes down to the player's health. If he can stay healthy, then this is a really solid signing. Even if he gets hurt though, the term makes this a lower risk move. I like it.
Edit - And seeing what Vancouver just paid for DeBrusk, I think this was the better route for Edmonton to take.

Want to see Hyman McDavid Arvidsson line. Two right handed buzz saws with McDavid. Kane and Nuge should be fine with Drai, if Kane comes in shape next season.

Gonna be interesting to see the next skate drop with Viktor Arvidsson signing a two-year deal with the Edmonton Oilers. Mattias Ekholm old ‘D’ partner adds offence from the back.

Could be. Not sure Carrier is that offensive. Ceci had more points this year.
