I am good with this one.
I saw a stat that in the playoffs his skating speed bursts were in the 96th percentile or something, whereas quite a bit lower in the regular season. Think his injury has healed. Only 30 and actually has been a top 6 player before.

He didn't really owe us anything. He could easily rationalize that his rehab struggle and eventual playoff performance was worth his pay.
We are certainly lucky we could salvage the situation and keep him on. Maybe he can get back to 15-20 goal form. For Brown, was all in his hands if he felt like a little redemption with the org and fans here. Could have easily moved on.
