Quick glance at upcoming UFAs - 2 of Montour, Pesce, or DeMelo I’m sure can be signed for under $12m.
Problem is, I don’t see any team taking that Nurse contract. Even with solid prospects and picks, that’s 6 more years at $9.25m.

Pesce or DeMelo would be huge adds for the 2nd pair RHD. If Broberg can keep playing like this he might be fine with one of those 2 guys on his right on the second pair. Either of those guys does fine taking over nurse's PK time

Please don't sit back - use the fact the Panthers came on hard after that gift even-up call to wake up for the third.
