Putting Broberg with Nurse and having our idiot forwards flying the zone like dummies with that pair out there is very painful to watch. Setting Broberg up to fail. Nurse was just in full pylon mode letting Broberg do everything a couple shifts back with McLeod coasting off to center ice.

Don't have it in this series. Can't even hit an open net. McDavid put the best chance of the net wide across the net right into Bobo when he had 1/3 of the net open to shoot at.

I defended Nurse before as I thought he had a higher ceiling to reach, but I think he’s reached it. Top tier athletically, but cannot read the game worth a dime for where he is roster and contract wise.

The basic problem is that the Panthers have a better set of D-men and goaltending. Defence wins championships and all that. Looks like it will be a wrap on Saturday, as the Oil just don’t have any answers for Bobo and the Cats’ D. I guess we should be happy that the team got this far with the blue-line group they have…. 
P.S.: )&@$ you yet again, Holland. You failed to do anything about the biggest need on this team if they were going to win it all. And screw Bobby Burgers for hiring the overrated joker to begin with.

At some point pride has to kick in, they have do more to win to avoid a sweep.
Two things coming to mind, one all the talk from the Panthers of wanting redemption after last year and secondly that line from Gretz after the first final loss that they walked past the Islanders dressing room and saw what it takes to win the cup. Can we use these ourselves for next year?
All things said pull this game back from here and you never know..

We were close. We made to the finals with our only upgrade last summer being Connor Brown lol.
Huge slap in the face by every weakness we knew was there in the finals though. Sucks. We needed a bad team to fluke their way to the finals. We got the best playoff built team instead.
Next GM has a hell of a lot of work to do, and 900k of extra cap space to do it while most everyone else gets 4.5M to improve their teams. nice one Kenny.
