It seems like the coach wanted to reset the line-up back to what it was before he made all the changes in the last series. The only person not on the ice from the old line-up is Desharnais. I hope he realizes now that those changes made vs the Stars should have been kept going into the final…

Knob first mistake with lineup changes

Bobrovsky is playing out of his mind, and Skinner is just fine. A couple of D gaffes and there is Florida's lead. Oilers can't afford to make any mistakes, and Florida has an absolute brick wall in net.
That's the difference in this one so far.

They HAVE seen a goalie like this though. This is Quick when he was at his best. You have to go high... you won't score low.
It sucks that Florida has maybe three good chances to score and gets two of them, and the Oilers have had maybe ten Grade A chances and have nothing to show for it.
At least the Oilers have played a great game, for the most part. If they can have Nurse stop puck-watching and Hyman commit to team D, plus Hyman score on one of his two glorious opportunities, this is a completely different game.
It's not over though. Keep pushing, lads.

What we need is a goal, sounds obvious I know, but beat Bobrorsky to take away the spell he's got on them right now and even if we drop this game, it won't become an issue in the next one.
Two sloppy plays have cost us, that's it. We are matching them and doing everything but score. Horrible as it is to be down, I don't think it's panic stations just yet. The cup isn't being given out after the game tonight.
