McDavid needs to get that shot off faster. Too much time dusting it off.

Not skinners fault but I’d pull him here. Oilers can’t trust he’s not in his head right now.

Agreed. But that last goal last game, first shot here, and again 3 shots later…give him a rest.

No they need to ride Skinner again this series..and next year as well! He's just tired again!

He's legit number 1 goalie because the Oilers drafted him.

The year after they won't have to worry about playoffs.

That second goal. Again. What is Skinner doing with his post? Why does he need his blocker arm lifted to be blocking space outside the net? Why not just cover the actual area a puck could go in?

I mean… I’m not pinning any of it on Skinner. Maybe I’m a Homer. But that was an egregious bounce of 2-5’s rump

Nurse booty giveth and Nurse booty taketh. Although we probably are now at 25 GA's off Nurse's butt vs a few saved goals in his career.

Skinner. I dunno. Obvious hard to predict that but he just looks so floppy on anything out of the ordinary. Figure he would be obsessive compulsive by now about protecting his post after all the embarrassing goals lately.

That was a frigging ugly period, I'm not sure if they went out slowly as a game plan as going out fast hasn't worked in the last couple of games. It isn't pretty hockey for sure, but I'll take being tied after it.

Maybe it’s something with his personal goalie coach? He definitely seems to be moving quicker, albeit floppily.

How many have gone in when he should have had the post? I count 3 big ones. Garland in game 1 against Vancouver, the game winner last game (that one was eve worst), and this one. I’m sure I’m forgetting some.

And we’re lucky they didn’t go il 3-0 with Stu flopping around there.

Unsportsmanlike, but only if a player is clearly going out of their way to do a huge stop directly at the goalie.

This guy is probably in the AHL on every other playoff team. It just boggles my mind that they keep rolling the dice like this. When he's in the net they are always one shot away from the roof caving in and the team knows it.

Hey we woke up. About time!

Oettinger's stick still making saves on us even when he's not holding it. Luck going against us this series.

So. Not a dominant first period this time. Does that mean we can have more even play the rest of the game? Or can Dallas pull another trick out of the hat anyways and run us over?
