I don’t recall ever seeing so many brutal turnovers as in the last 3 games.

10PIM to 2PIM in favour of Dallas. Let’s at least make it 10-4.

I don't know why, but McDavid doesn't seem nearly as clutch as he used to be. Even last year, that's a for sure goal. This year, it's like Luke Richardson is taking the shot.

LOL... fine, I'll recant. McDavid needs to put that one away though.

As much as the guy obviously wants the Cup, he has to bear down on a chance like that.

Yeah, best player in the world should bury that 100/100 times. History of the NHL tells me we're 100% due a call, especially after all the crappy imagined ones against us, but "refs don't want to determine the outcome of a game" yet by ignoring all their infractions they are doing exactly that.

They looked a little leggy in that period of OT. McDavid hasn't been himself for a few games now. His puck control is always a sign of where he's at. Mind you, even at the point he's at opposition players can't cheap on him.

Shout out to Mcleod so far, he's bounced back from that error so far in this game.

I'm calling it reverse psychology.....

Get in, that's a huge goal in terms of the game, for McDavid and the series.

Honestly can't understand what 97 was doing here. The net is yawning in front of him and he inexplicably decides to try to stick handle it across the line. I don't think that's a great oetinger save.. He didn't even get a shot away.

Ok all is forgiven:)

How is that possible? Wouldn't that have been a penalty?

That's a win for Dallas regardless of how this game goes. Mission accomplished I guess.

I missed that. Was it talked about during the game? A quick googling shows a pic with 29 wearing some tape around his left finger, but nothing else.

Only caught the Simpson pointing it out as a reason Drai's faceoffs might be suffering in the game. Suggested it was a little makeshift splint on his index finger.

Clearly he can still shoot though. Perfect shot for his goal last night. Although not sure if he got his finger hurt after that.

This from the team getting off the flight to Dallas. Oilers posted it and then deleted iIt so that tells me the injury isn’t new and hasn’t really held him back. I could see how the bottom hand would hurt his face off draws, but shooting is a lot of dominate hand. Then again I was never a goal scorer so I can’t say for sure.

I was (relatively speaking, obviously not an elite NHL goal scorer.)
I played with a broken middle finger and it was incredibly annoying. It effected my accuracy a lot more than my power. I think it basically altered my grip enough that it caused a change to my blade angle and timing slightly.
I was never great on my back hand but that was more painful than anything forehand. I mention this as Drai's backhand passes are a huge part of his game. I cant say I have noticed him using them less but it could be a problem there as well as the faceoffs.
