Probably need to be better than game 6 tonight. Hope Skinner looks sharper to start the game and can hold the fort.
Boeser and his 26% shooting (after 20% regular season with past career average 12%) being out helps for sure. But Canucks are gonna be desperate now.

Refs are Rooney (was brutal in game 3.. imagines infractions. worst ref in the NHL) and Hebert (just did game 6 and was OK)
Can't believe Rooney qualified for a round II game 7.. NHL must select by seniority over ability.
BTW.. Rooney's record reffing Vancouver games this season is 11-0-1 .. wth ?
How does the NHL not consider this anomaly a factor in selecting a ref?
No matter .. McDavid will overcome ALL!

Canucks will be determined and want to win it for Boser on home ice. Oil need to come out flying, and never let their foot off the gas. This has been an incredible series, but let’s end this and go to Dallas. If we play a full 60 minutes I don’t see us losing this game

The games when a team is suddenly missing a good player regularly result in the team bringing extra effort throughout the line up.. Oil just need to withstand the initial push.. Van will be throwing it all at the wall off the start.. like game one.. Oilers need to move the puck and move their feet.. can't be sitting ducks taking the missile barrage of non-stop hits..
Van will also be crosschecking non-stop.. Oil can't retaliate.. Ref will be just waiting to whistle it to make it 12-0-1
