I have a feeling that your comment will trigger an emotion.
I think it is pretty normal to have a bad feeling, or doubt with tonight's performance. It is not life and death, but our fan base has experienced a lot of trauma in the past 20+ years. I do not share NetBOG's fear, but I understand where his brain is at.

I am sure you are right but I don't get it.
Were they bad for a long time? Sure they were.
Did it suck? You bet it did. I am in my 40's, I know all about the bad years. I watched a lot of bad Oilers teams.
But when do fans get over it? Do some of you guys still mope about your highschool girlfriend who dumped you decades ago even though you have a great home life and family? The Oilers are a good team, they have been for a while now. Why not show a little confidence and positivity in your team
and enjoy it vs assuming the worst because 20 yrs ago, they lost a certain game. Some of you guys need to let some things go, seriously.
