Just checked the LA roster.. all the douche bags I hate are from the USA.. coincidence?

That hit on Kane by Englund was as predatory as it gets.. just sheer luck Englunds shoulder never hit Kane full in the face.. it was a kill shot.
Both of the USA d-bag midgets have tried to take out knees (Moore, Lizzote).. and how many slew foots did LA do tonight? One on Carrick by Moore, RNH got one, then the side hit on Kane by Lizotte that was combo knee/slew foot.. no calls? This after Anderson took out Leon 2 years ago with a slew.. its become the LA trademark..
Refs lucky nobody went off on a stretcher..
And Freaking Gavrikov almost cripples McDavid sliding into his knees, may or may not have been intentional, didn't see if he collided with anyone.. buts its still a dangerous move you never do..
Oh and I like how Bouchard tosses "Big Bad" Dubois around at the end of the game.. awesome
I've been one off Bouchards best critics defensively .. but I think the guy has turned a corner.. I've noticed whenever there is a shoot in now he turns and skates back at 100% to retrieve it and gains time to set up for the break out.. he used to saunter back, take too much time and got caught in his own zone for a long cycle .. he's figuring it out 🙂 👍🏻

The plaudits will rightly go to the forwards for putting the puck in the net, for agitating the Kings enough for them to blow a gasket and try gooning it up even more than normal. However, quietly Desharnais had his best play off game I'd say, no where near any of the 3 stars of the match, but very effective.

The Kings’ strategy each year has just been to see how much they’re allowed to get away with and to actively try to injure our best players. I’m sure if any of our stars gets hurt we will hear “you never want to see a guy hurt” from their guys but it’s shallow - that’s exactly what they’re hoping for. They know that they just aren’t good enough to beat us if we have McDavid and Draisaitl healthy.

Yep. Don't forget Vegas did the same thing and the league encouraged it.
Tough to win when two of the top four greatest playoff performers of all time are fully healthy and able to dominate games.

Love the scoring obvs...the big boys came to play...esp Kane. He was up to the task...and responsibility of being in the top 6 again. Nice Gordie Hatty!
Four moments stood out to me on the defensive end:
1 - Stu managing the game well in net. Lot of odd bounces, etc that he read well while reacting accordingly. That save against Kempe on the mini-breakaway was CLUTCH in the 2nd period.
2 - The blocked pass by Vinny on one of the Kings PPs....
3 - That Nurse save on Laferriere with the open net...such a clutch unsung play which prevented any serious momentum shift
4 - Holding their own when the Kings came out in first 7 mins of the 3rd period dominating puck possession, etc.
There's been a ton of goofy bounces in recent playoff years that can shift momentum in this series so game 4 is anything but a lock. The abundance of PPs for both sides scared the daylights out of me...not gonna lie.
Kings finally capitalizing on a PP is another thing that could shift the momentum in this series as well.
Chill out...grab a nice dinner...relax...and take care of business Sunday.
