This past week I honestly thought Kane was going to be a huge trading chip making a splash and actually doing something that might move the needle.
Call me crazy. I know he could be a huge asset in the playoffs, but I think the Oilers could have made themselves better without him.
I hope someone throws this post in my face this spring. I really do.

I'm starting to wonder if he is ever going to be the same again after having his arm sawed off on the ice. I find it hard to not give him the benefit of the doubt after something like that - physically and mentally that's touch to come back from.
Hope i'm wrong.

I would think it is, but I detached my bicep once. Not the same injury, but tendon repair as well. The recovery was slow, but after 6 months I couldn’t even tell it happened. Arm is perfect. The nerve damage from the incision made my arm feel numb for about 4 months.
Now mentally for Kane? That was scary AF that night.
