Poor rookie goalie. Almost got through the game with us trying to pass the puck into the net.

Has anyone thought of making the Coyotes a traveling team? They could either play all 82 games on the road OR play their 'home' games in cities with real arenas. Imagine a six game homestand in Quebec City or Cleveland or Houston or KC or Glendale or Saskatoon. They'd have to be able to sell more tickets.

They are selling out at prices more than double what they were charging in Glendale. While it may look like they are making less than they were, I don't think they are.
The league attendance figures show 100% for both last year and this one, so maybe they are proving that they have a decent fanbase and Glendale was the issue. Bettman is loath to walk away from one of the largest media markets in the US.
If the could just sucker one of the cities (Phoenix, Scottsdale, Mesa) to hand over $500 million like the idiots in Edmonton and Calgary did for a new arena, I think they are fine.

I have no doubts they're making more money than they were in Glendale. I'm equally sure they're not making money. If they can't sucker some city (or the rest of the league or some rich guy) they've got to move. A 4600 seat arena just isn't a recipe for long term success.

Anything that means I don't have to sit in the worst arena seats in hockey at the Sherwood Park Arena is a good thing.

The rare call accusing a player of knocking the helmet off another. About as rare as the 1 game suspension being upheld for a late game instigator. Rare like, called on a player 1 time in years, for each.

Agree. that was bogus, whenever I've seen them ever call "removing a helmet" in the past it was obvious and intentional, like a head lock with a purposeful pulling off motion of the helmet.. in this case it looked more like Keselring's helmet was loose to start and just fell off while they were tangled up.. looked more like Keselring was interfering by pinning Kane along the boards and refusing to release.
