I'm still puzzled by what's up with McD. People say he's injured yet he doesn't miss a practice. Maybe practicing won't make it worse but if he's actually hurt, why wouldn't you take a few practices off, get some rest and extra treatment. Nothing about how McD is playing and if he's supposedly playing through something makes any sense with what he's doing on non game days.

There's a lot of things I doubt the Oilers on, but with McDavid's health, I'm just going to trust him that he's doing what he feels is best. McDavid at 60% is still much better than subbing him out and adding Erne at 100% in.
And practices? I mean, he's probably not pushing it beyond what he can comfortably do in a practice.
I believe he did have a maintenance day last week too.
