One of our super powers is our fanbase is scandal proof. We've still got Bob Nicholson...he had to approve the funds for that scandal and many others.
We need to lean into this more on deals I feel.

One of our super powers is our fanbase is scandal proof. We've still got Bob Nicholson...he had to approve the funds for that scandal and many others.
We need to lean into this more on deals I feel.

The luxurious coat of Teflon protects the mighty, but it does start to fade as it trickles down to the minions.
It is starting to look like that story is just fading away into obscurity.

London police are still finalizing their investigation (their 2nd) .. its still very active.
Incident happened in June 2018.. they were at a HC fund raiser in London (golf tournament)
London police originally investigated the allegations in 2018 and closed the file in 2019 with no charges laid.
The woman sued Hockey Canada in 2022 for $3.55M..
HC settled out of court with her in May 2022.
Federal ministry of sport got involved, sponsors pulled out.. HC reopened investigation through a 3rd party in July 2022 and finalized it in Dec 2022.
London police had reopened the investigation sometime in 2022, and were given the 3rd party's final report..
So a long process, as it stands looks like they are still waiting for London police to conclude their investigation and file charges, if any. Could be a bombshell.

Seravalli said on DFO today that results of the London Police investigation will be announced soon.. he expects there might be some NHL suspensions.

If you guys want a good story. I heard that Ekholm was pushed by our trainers to change up his summer training regimen that he's been doing for over a decade.
If true, maybe contributed to his injury. Also, would help make it extremely unlikely he would consider extending.
