No Cups

The Oilers' have issued QOs to all five of their pending RFAs: Bouchard, McLeod, Lavoie, Philip, and Rodrigue:

Obviously they have some hope that Philip will change his mind, and still have some plans for Rodrigue. The other three were no-brainers.

3 Cups

I like they qualified Philip to keep his rights. No cost or risk. I think there is a shot at a player if he changes his mind.

Rodrigue signed for a single year at $775K, two-way deal.

Hi numbers have improved in his time with the Condors. This is probably a make-it-or-break-it year for him. If he's not impressing, I could see him cast out a year from now to make room for the next goalie prospect.
