Just to get one more gripe out before the game. Our top 6 wingers need to do something. Every Kings top 6 wingers is playing some of the best hockey of their lives, Byfield included. Ours are doing next to nothing. Both top lines are just a McDavid or Drai show making the Kings life easy double teaming them. We are spending a buttload on top wingers now, need something from it.

Someone please cut my ears off so I don't need to listen to these abominations of anthems any more. Why is it so hard for US teams to get anthem singers who are only average? It's not a high bar to clear!

Why are Drai & McD on the same line??? Yeah that's a strong line but we've dominated with them separate. Why change that?

I don't believe that was a save on the Draisaitl shot...pretty sure that was solid post.

That's what I'm thinking as well... Korpi is looking like he's going to be insanely hard to score on.

Goaltending is looking like it's the biggest real difference between these two teams. Korpisalo is the better goalie though, by a wide margin.

Too bad though... if Campbell hadn't been an absolute turd this season, maybe we wouldn't be asking a rookie to be all-world to stop the Grade A opportunities we give up.

Oilers look shell-shocked and like they're going to get run over in this one, so far.

The fun part is that if we lose he will probably be terrible in round 2.

What a huge statement first period from the Oil... 5 shots for and 1 GA and we're approaching the intermission.

Way to come out and blow the doors off, boys!

Looks like some of the guys on the team have been polishing up their golf clubs.

Desharnais has been massive weak link in almost every game.

Not his fault. He is who he is. That's how it goes though when you depend on guys with near 0 experience in playoffs

Nice game to pick to no show. Get Drai & McD off that same line! ZERO scoring threat outside of that line.

Can the Oilers please hire a couple more people to stare at tablets after every goal, so the coaching staff can focus on the next shift? I know they have a review team in the background, but apparently it’s not enough.

Well folks, we still have the Boston Red Sox. I know I know, I’m probably the only one on here that likes the Red Sox. But hey, the Blue Jays are doing well as well.

This game is an over though the Oilers kins score quick. Let’s see what they do in the second.
