LA has acknowledged they have to start better. Oilers need to maintain their fired out of a rocket start and grab the momentum.

Oilers acknowledged they needed to start better for 4 years. Easier said than done. This is a good road team. I have high hopes and here is to Skinner rounding into form. He’s been slightly below average so far. Love to see him make a big save early and then have the team rally around him.
Tonight McDavid goes full MVP.

I think Skinner has been decent but I don't think he has been outstanding. Korpisalo has been the better goalie in my opinion. But Skinner has done what the team needs him to do, be decent, don't give the game away and let the Oilers who are the superior team do their thing. I could see Skinner having a big game in one of the next 2, he's due.

Couple things for me; Skinner hasn’t had to be outstanding, yet. The team has done a fairly good job limiting the high event chances while effectively tilting the ice the other way. Kings have been gifted powerplays by undisciplined play from the Oil, had some fortuitous bounces and momentum inspired chances so far but despite winning game 1… the Kings haven’t played a single second of hockey with a lead this postseason yet.
I don’t miss The Toddfather.
