Still a tight race for the conference lead, so the Must is strong with this one.

Ugh, biggest game of the season and it's an 11:30pm puck drop for me. Thanks NHL.
Guess I'll just be catching the highlights in the morning.
OOTS didn't do us any favours again last night, so just keep winning.

I've never understood why the NHL lets west coast teams start their games at 7:30 local on weeknights. Wouldn't it make sense to hold them to 7 to make natural doubleheaders with the 7 pm eastern starts? There are five 7pm eastern starts tonight followed by one 7pm pacific and two 7:30 pacific starts. It makes no sense.

Another huge game.
This Pacific division is crazy. The Oilers have gone 9-0-1 and barely made any ground on Vegas and the Kings because both of those teams keep winning as well.

There's so little sense to the NHL schedule when it comes to times. On the weekend (Sunday I think?) there were a couple early games, then a 2-3 hour gap with no games and then a whole bunch of games all at once.
The NFL always seems to make it so there's always a game going on all day and you can just flip from the end of one to the start of another...why the NHL hasn't figured that out, I will never know.
Big game! Should be a fun one - hopefully we can put up a touchdown on the Kings to really spike them. McLellan sucks. I'd like to see him looking as glum as we made Eakins look on Saturday.

Other sports leagues tell the broadcasters when they're playing and they accommodate. The broadcasters tell the NHL what's available.

It's booked! Oilers win, don't cover, but hit the over.

It appears the scheduling is for US national TV again. Knights @ Trashville starts at 6PM our time which pushes Oilers on ESPN back a half hour.
It isn't a league-wide issue. Nearly every Leafs home game starts at 7PM local and the whine would be loud if that ever changed. Same with most eastern time zone teams. They just push around the western teams to squeeze in double headers. Sportsnet is at least as bad for it as ESPN and TNT.

I'm 72 percent intoxicated, going to be watching on my patio in a Mexican resort.
Could you launch your pants this way? I spilled red wine on only packed pair and need some to wear home

Rookie numbers. Keep doing your good work scouting down there.
Fun fact: there's a women's world hockey championship (div 2, group a) tournament going on in Mexico City this week. I was going to make a joke about Barry Fraser but a quick google search told me he died this past December. I had no idea.
