That was a pretty terrible effort by Kane. Leaves the player and then SKATES BEHIND THE NET instead of dumping the guy on his rear.

He just assumed the game was over I think. Brutal

My guess is that's the end of that for awhile.

Ugh, that was a horrible way to lose in OT, but you could see it coming given how long those three were out on the ice…

Coverage issue on that OT goal again. Nuge above his guy a bit and Kane left his guy, his guy gets the puck and Kane for some reason leaves his guy in front diddling with the puck. I hate Vegas.
Probably don't have much nice to say tonight. Again, I hate Vegas.

Kane with one of the worst highlights I've seen in some time. He's behind the net watching before the puck is even in, shot from the side he had all the time in the world to get into and contest.

It's not as egregious as putting the Big Rig out there in 3 on 3 back in the day, but Kane is a sniper. He can recover pucks but he isn't a guy who has wheels/maneuverability to defend or a be a playmaker with all that open ice. There are other options like Hyman, Janmark, or even KY.

Kane is playing awful.. ribs are still cracked, but not his skull.. he looks gassed most of the time.
Yamo is basically like playing a man short.. I've never seen him less effective than he is right now, consistently taking stick penalties because he's too small to win puck battles one on one.
Wood had #26 playing up with McD instead of Yamo.. which was better .. #26 wins battles and plays smart.. but he has the finish of a mile of pot-holed gravel road.
Yamo looking like he might be trade bait this summer.

Don’t care what anyone says. I’m not scared of them if we play them in the playoffs

Agree.. their goaltending is sparse at best.. they can be scored on.. we just need tighter/smarter D to keep the puck out of our net.. eliminate the cranial flatulence.
LA has Korpo and their D-zone is tighter.

So the Oilers just need what they don't have to win? Yeah, no worries.

We might need nurse to injure his hip again. Nurse was a much better defender when his body was forcing him to be very efficient about his movement and he was hanging back and playing safer. Fully healthy Nurse is always skating up past the dots in our zone any time there is a hint that one of his teammates were getting control of the puck.

He's thinking he's Paul Coffey when he should be acting more like like Jason Smith.
